WHATSAPP & OMNICHANNEL TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: August 18, 2026 | Effective Date: August 18, 2026
1. Scope & Architecture of WhatsApp API Services
These Terms of Service ("Terms") strictly govern access to and usage of the Omnichannel Communication Platform, WhatsApp Business Cloud API routing layer, multi-agent inbox, automated workflow builder, and webhook relay engines provided by Arrow Reach Digital ("we", "us", "our").
By connecting your Meta Business Manager, registering a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), executing Meta Embedded Signup, or transmitting messages via our API, you unconditionally agree to abide by these Terms, the Meta Business Terms, the WhatsApp Business Solution Terms, and Meta's developer mandates.
2. Meta Business Account, WABA & Embedded Signup Rules
To utilize WhatsApp Business API features through Arrow Reach Digital, clients must comply with Meta's setup and verification requirements:
- Meta Business Verification: You must maintain an active, verified Meta Business Manager account and provide truthful corporate ownership documentation upon request by Meta.
- Display Name & Phone Number Ownership: Phone numbers assigned to your WABA must be clean, capable of receiving SMS/Voice OTP verification codes, and display names must comply with Meta Display Name Guidelines (no generic terms, proper branding capitalization).
- System User Access Tokens: Client tokens generated via Embedded Signup are strictly scoped for WhatsApp message processing and webhooks. You must not attempt to manipulate or extract unauthorized Graph API endpoints.
3. Conversation Categories & 24-Hour Messaging Windows
Meta categorizes WhatsApp conversations into distinct billing and operational tiers. Users of our platform must strictly adhere to these messaging constraints:
Service Conversations (24-Hour Window)
Initiated by an end-user inquiry. Within 24 hours of the user's last inbound message, free-form customer support messages, rich media, and interactive components may be sent without template pre-approval.
Business-Initiated Conversations
Must utilize pre-approved Meta Message Templates. Categorized as Utility (order alerts, shipping updates), Authentication (2FA OTP passcodes), or Marketing (promotions, offers).
4. Message Template Verification & Phone Number Quality Tiers
Outbound templates are submitted directly to Meta for automated and manual review. Arrow Reach Digital does not bypass or override Meta template decisions:
- Template Rejection & Category Enforcement: Templates containing misleading headers, incorrect categorization, abusive text, or missing variable placeholders will be rejected by Meta.
- Quality Rating Monitoring: Meta monitors recipient feedback (blocks, report spam). If your WABA Phone Number Quality Rating drops to YELLOW (Medium) or RED (Low), Meta automatically restricts your messaging throughput.
- Messaging Limits & Daily Tiers: Accounts start at Tier 250 or Tier 1K unique recipients per 24 hours and automatically scale to Tier 10K, Tier 100K, or Unlimited based on positive engagement and low spam feedback.
5. Mandatory User Opt-In (Consent Standard)
Sending unsolicited messages over WhatsApp is illegal under telecommunication laws and strictly prohibited by Meta. You warrant that:
- You have obtained affirmative, explicit opt-in consent from every recipient prior to initiating outbound WhatsApp messages.
- Valid opt-in methods include clear website opt-in forms, SMS opt-in confirmation, interactive QR code scans, or direct WhatsApp user-initiated messages.
- You MUST NOT purchase, scrape, rent, or import cold lead lists. Pre-checked consent boxes on web forms are invalid under Meta policy.
- You maintain verifiable digital audit logs of consent timestamps, IP addresses, and consent language.
6. Mandatory Opt-Out Mechanisms (Unsubscribe Processing)
End-users retain the right to unsubscribe at any time. Our platform automatically captures and enforces opt-out requests:
- When a user replies with standard keywords such as
STOP,UNSUBSCRIBE,CANCEL, orQUIT, or clicks an interactive opt-out button, our system immediately adds the number to your account suppression list. - Attempting to re-contact an unsubscribed recipient or bypass suppression lists will result in immediate termination of your platform account.
7. WhatsApp Commerce Policy Restrictions & Prohibited Content
In accordance with Meta Commerce Policies, the following products, services, and content categories are strictly forbidden across our WhatsApp infrastructure:
8. Zero Tolerance for Spam & Account Suspension
Arrow Reach Digital maintains a zero-tolerance policy against spam, phishing, and unverified broadcast blasts. We reserve the right to immediately freeze, rate-limit, or terminate any account upon detecting high user report rates, Meta policy strikes, or unauthorized API access without prior notice.
